Is Webbs timber from sustainable sources?
Most of our timber is pressure treated (Tanalith ‘E’) and comes from sustainable sources – FSC.Read more

Is Webbs timber stress graded?
All of our timber, where bigger than 47 x 50mm, is stress graded to either C16 or the higher C24 grade. We have two trained and certified graders on site who can grade any timber quickly where needed. C24 graded timber is now becoming more common.

We are proud of the fact we stock rather unusual products such as 200mm & 225mm boards and long lengths such as 7.2M long 150mm & 200mm timbers.Read more

Do Webbs carry big or long length timbers?
We also carry big section timbers such as 150mm, 175mm & 200mm square timbers but are often getting such sections as 250mm & 275mm cut specially to order.Read more

Do Webbs roofing battens conform to building regulations?
Webbs stock five different widths and thicknesses of roofing batten. Some are stamped TYPE A and are a good grade to satisfy building regulations. Our boards are 22mm and 38mm thick ranging from 75mm to 225mm wide.Read more
